### Dynamic/Trackable Types
These support analytics, destination editing, scan limits, and A/B testing.

#### URL QR Code
Redirect users to any website or webpage. Supports HTTP/HTTPS, deep links, UTM tracking, and dynamic destination updates without reprinting.

#### PDF QR Code
Link to a PDF hosted online. On a dynamic code, point it at a new document anytime without creating a new QR code.

#### Menu QR Code
Link to your restaurant or business menu online. On a dynamic code, change where it points anytime without reprinting.

#### App Store QR Code
Link to your app's App Store or Google Play page. Each code opens one store link; there is no automatic device detection yet.

### Analytics
Every plan, Free included, shows total and unique scans, scans over time, device type, browser, operating system and top countries (country level). The plans differ in how far back the data goes and in the advanced views:
- **Free:** all of the above, 7-day history
- **Pro:** all of the above, 30-day history
- **Business:** 1-year history, plus city and region breakdowns, hourly and day-of-week patterns, peak scan times, a scan location heatmap, CSV, Excel and PDF export, and scan velocity alerts

### Design Customization

### Anti-Counterfeit Verification (every plan)
- Switch it on for any dynamic code: downloads then encode a signed link (`quality-qr.app/v/{code}/{signature}`) instead of the plain short link
- Scanning a signed link opens a Quality QR page that confirms the code is genuine and shows who issued it (the team or account name, set by its owner), the code's name and the site it leads to, with a button to continue
- A changed signature, one code's signature on another code, or a revoked link gets a warning page and goes nowhere; every check is logged for the owner
- Signed links do not expire; the owner can revoke and reissue one at any time
- Limits: an exact copy of a printed signed code verifies too, and a sticker with a different code never reaches the page; the signature proves who issued the link, not that a label is the original

### Team Collaboration (Business)
- 5 team seats included
- Roles: owner (the Business account that created the team, and the only one who can rename or delete it), admin (invites and removes members, changes roles, deletes team QR codes, and reviews the audit log), member (creates and edits team QR codes), viewer (read-only access to the team's QR codes and their scan counts)
- QR codes created in the team workspace are shared with every member
- Audit log with user attribution for new team QR codes, edits and deletions teammates make to each other's codes, invitations, role changes, and removals
- Each teammate signs in with their own Quality QR account, and the codes they create follow their own plan's limits
- A code joins the team when it is created there; moving an existing personal code into a team is not supported yet

### Custom Domains (Business)
- Up to 3 custom domains per account, each a subdomain you own, such as qr.yourbrand.com (a root domain such as yourbrand.com cannot be used)
- Setup: add a CNAME pointing the subdomain at domains.quality-qr.app and a TXT record that proves the domain belongs to your account; the dashboard checks both
- The HTTPS certificate is issued and renewed through Cloudflare once the CNAME is live, usually within minutes
- Choose the domain for each new code, or set a default for new codes; the REST API and the MCP server take a "domain" parameter
- Short links on a custom domain look like qr.yourbrand.com/aBcD1234; every code in the account also answers on each active domain, and keeps working on quality-qr.app/q/aBcD1234
- Social media landing pages stay on quality-qr.app/s/
- A code with anti-counterfeit verification on keeps its signed link on quality-qr.app, because the verification page vouches for the code; a custom domain applies again once verification is off

All plans include REST API access for programmatic QR code generation, and the same API key works with the Quality QR MCP server for AI assistants:

Returns the generated QR code image (a PNG data URL by default; set "format" to "svg" or "base64" for the other outputs). When you pass a "name" or set "isDynamic": true, the code is saved to your account and the response also includes its ID and short URL. The image applies your foreground and background colors; patterns, logos, and gradients are set in the dashboard. On Business, "domain" puts the short URL on one of your active custom domains ("qr.yourbrand.com"), null keeps it on quality-qr.app, and leaving it out uses your default domain if you set one. The short URL the API returns is always the link to print: for a code with anti-counterfeit verification on, that is its signed link on quality-qr.app.

Returns the QR codes in your account (up to 100 per page) with their short URLs.

The REST API creates and lists QR codes only; it has no endpoints yet for editing, deleting, or reading analytics. Those are available in the dashboard and through the MCP server below.

### MCP Server (AI assistants)
Endpoint: https://quality-qr.app/api/mcp (JSON-RPC 2.0 over HTTP). It uses the same API key as the REST API, and each tool call counts toward the same monthly request limit. It works with Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible tools. Tools:
- quality_qr_create: create a QR code of any of the 12 types
- quality_qr_list: list your QR codes, with a type filter and pagination
- quality_qr_get: full details of one QR code
- quality_qr_update: change the destination URL of a URL-based code, rename a code, or turn it on or off (recorded in version history on Business)
- quality_qr_delete: permanently delete a QR code
- quality_qr_analytics: total scans, scans by day, device breakdown, and top 5 countries, within your plan's history window (7, 30, or 365 days)
