Business Feature: Scan alerts are available on the Business Plan (email) and Enterprise (email + SMS).
Stay informed about your QR code activity with real-time scan alerts. Get notified via email or SMS whenever someone scans your important QR codes, so you can respond quickly to leads, track events, and monitor access.

Email Alerts
Receive email notifications when your QR codes are scanned
SMS Alerts
Get text messages for high-priority QR code scans
What's in an Alert
Each scan alert includes valuable information:
- QR code name and identifier
- Date and time of scan
- Location (city, country) if available
- Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop)
- Browser and operating system
- Link to view full scan details in dashboard
Setting Up Scan Alerts
Step 1: Open QR Code Settings
Navigate to your QR code and click "Edit" or go to the Settings tab.
Step 2: Enable Alerts
Find the "Scan Alerts" section and toggle it on.
Step 3: Choose Alert Method
Select email, SMS (Enterprise), or both. Enter the destination email or phone number.
Step 4: Set Alert Frequency
Choose between instant alerts (every scan), digest (hourly/daily summary), or threshold alerts (after X scans).
