Trial ending? Move your codes before they go inactive
Your Pageloot trial or plan is about to end and some codes are already on paper. This guide shows which ones stop working, how to tell static from dynamic, and how to move each one to Quality QR with as little reprinting as possible.

What stops when the trial or plan runs out
Pageloot ties dynamic codes to a live subscription. When a plan or the 14-day trial lapses, its FAQ says the codes "will become inactive", and statistics and editing wait behind a renewal. Anyone scanning a lapsed code no longer reaches your page, so printed menus, labels and business cards made during the trial are the ones to check first.
Two kinds of code are safe. Codes downloaded from Pageloot's free generator page without signing up carry their content inside the pattern and need nothing from Pageloot. Codes covered by its lifetime deal stay live because there is no subscription to lapse. Paid plans also renew automatically unless cancelled, so if you mean to leave, cancel before the renewal date.
Find out which of your codes are dynamic
Make a list of every code in print and scan each one with a phone camera, reading the link in the preview before you open it. A short link instead of your own address usually means the code is dynamic and depends on the plan. Your own web address, a contact card, a Wi-Fi network name or a phone number means the code is static and will keep working.
Treat anything created inside the Pageloot dashboard during the trial as dynamic. That includes vCard, App Store and link-in-bio codes, which Pageloot's plan table lists as a "QR page" rather than data held in the pattern.
Save what you need before access closes
While the trial is still running, write down each code's name, destination, where it is printed and roughly how many copies exist. Download or note any scan figures you want to keep: after expiry, Pageloot's FAQ ties statistics to a renewed subscription. That list becomes your plan for what to recreate first.
Reprint or redirect, code by code
A printed dynamic code can only change destination through whoever owns its link. If the code points at an address you control, such as a page on your own website, update the redirect there and the print keeps working. Pageloot's dynamic QR page gives the same advice for converting old codes.
If the code points at Pageloot's short link, there are two honest options: keep a Pageloot plan running until the next print run, or replace the code. Short-lived print such as flyers can simply lapse. Long-lived print such as packaging, signs and menus deserves a code you will never need to move again: a static code where the content never changes, or a link on your own website that you can redirect later.
Recreating the codes on Quality QR
Start with the Free plan, which holds one dynamic code and five static ones with no end date. Rebuild contact cards, Wi-Fi details, events and SMS codes as static codes, since Quality QR encodes them straight into the pattern. Spend the dynamic code on the link most likely to change, and follow its scans by device, browser, operating system and country from the first day.
When the list outgrows Free, Pro at €5/month holds 10 dynamic codes, and Business at €10/month holds 100 with 5 team seats. Test every new code on an iPhone and an Android phone before it goes to the printer.
Last-week checklist
1. List every printed code with its location and destination.
2. Scan each one and mark it static or dynamic.
3. Save the scan figures you want to keep.
4. Recreate static content as static codes on Quality QR.
5. Recreate the links that change as dynamic codes, newest print first.
6. For each dynamic Pageloot code, choose: keep the plan until the reprint, redirect from your own site, or replace it.
7. Test the new codes on two phones before printing.
