Pro Feature: Design templates are available on Pro (10 templates) and Business (25 templates) plans.
Design templates let you save your favorite QR code styles and apply them instantly to new codes. Create a branded design once, reuse it everywhere, and maintain perfect consistency across all your QR codes.
Creating a Template
Save any QR code design as a template to reuse it later. Here's how:
Step 1: Design Your QR Code
Use the design panel to customize colors, patterns, corners, logo, and frame exactly how you want them.
Step 2: Click “Save as Template”
Find the template picker at the top of the design panel. Click “Save Design as Template” to save your design.
Step 3: Name Your Template
Give your template a descriptive name like “Brand Primary” or “Summer Campaign” for easy identification.
Step 4: Choose Visibility (Business)
On Business plans, you can share templates with your team. Select “Team” to make it available to all team members.
Applying a Template
Use saved templates to instantly apply designs to new QR codes:
Step 1: Open Template Picker
In the QR code generator, find the template picker dropdown at the top of the design options.
Step 2: Browse Templates
View your templates organized by category: Presets, My Templates, and Team Templates (if applicable).
Step 3: Select and Apply
Click on any template to instantly apply its design settings. The preview updates immediately.

Built-in Preset Templates
Get started quickly with our professionally designed preset templates. These are available to all Pro and Business users.
Classic Black
Clean black on white with square patterns
Modern Blue
Navy gradient with rounded dot patterns

What's Saved in a Template
Templates save all your visual design settings:
Colors
Foreground and background colors, gradients
Patterns
Dot pattern style (square, rounded, dots, etc.)
Corners
Corner square and corner dot styles
Logo
Logo image, size, margin, and background
Frame
Frame style, color, text, and text color
Gradients
Gradient type, colors, and rotation angle
Managing Your Templates
Edit or delete templates directly from the template picker:
- Edit:Click the edit icon next to any template to rename it
- Delete:Click the delete icon to remove a template (cannot be undone)
- Note:Preset templates cannot be edited or deleted
