About Heatmap Visualization
Heatmap visualization plots every scan on an interactive world map and overlays a heat layer that shows where scan density is highest. This is the fastest way to answer the question of which physical locations are actually working without scrolling through tabular city data. Zoom in on a region to see the pattern at metro level, filter by date range to compare campaign phases, or compare two QR codes side by side to see whether different print placements pull from different geographic audiences. The heatmap respects the same privacy model as the rest of Quality QR: locations are derived from IP geolocation at city precision, not from tracking individual scanners across codes, and no personally identifying data appears on the map. Common workflows include retail location analysis to decide which stores get future signage budgets, event venue optimization for figuring out which floor or zone of a venue is generating engagement, and franchise performance comparison for benchmarking individual locations against the network. Heatmap is a Business-plan feature and uses the full city-level scan history available on Business (1 year of retention).
