Quality QR's redirect service runs on Cloudflare's global edge network, which means QR code resolution happens in the data center physically closest to the person scanning, not in a single origin region thousands of miles away. The practical effect is sub-50ms median redirect latency from anywhere in the world, including from rural connections and from inside corporate networks where a slow first hop would otherwise dominate the user experience. Edge deployment also gives us automatic DDoS protection, automatic failover when an individual data center has issues, and zero cold-start latency, since the redirect service is always warm at every edge location. This matters for high-traffic campaigns: a viral product launch or a billboard during a national broadcast can drive thousands of concurrent scans, and a centralized origin would collapse under that load. Edge deployment is the platform default rather than a paid add-on, so every QR code on every plan benefits from the same global redirect performance and availability. There are no separate paid tiers for traffic volume; the free plan and the Business plan resolve scans through the same infrastructure.
